From Outsider to Advocate
As an immigrant entrepreneur who built and sold a global business, I've experienced how traditional investors dismiss founders who don't fit a narrow mold.
MY JOURNEY
Previously, I founded Blueback Global, a Financial Times 2021 Top 75 fastest growing company in the Americas. At our peak, we operated in over 150 countries and served clients ranging from startups to Fortune 1000 companies. Prior to this, I held senior Finance Advisory roles at global accounting firms PwC and KPMG.
While I am a Chartered Accountant (CPA) by training, many of my biggest career lessons weren’t about numbers—they were about people. Ironically, my success usually came from collaborating with high-character people, not just building spreadsheets.
Now, I'm putting both my experience and beliefs to work for founders and business owners who share my vision and values.
Beyond Business
Born and educated in Singapore, and having worked across Singapore, China, Taiwan, and the U.S., I bring a global perspective to local business.
When I'm not working with founders, you'll find me spending time with Dakota, my loyal, fun, gritty and protective German Shepard dog whose personality inspired the name and ethos of this firm.
I also moonlight as an aspiring sound engineer, tuning and maintaining the audio equipment that I use for listening to my vinyl records.
Last but not least, you can find me trying to master the art of coffee, and collecting pens, books, timepieces, and albums to pay homage to timeless, lasting design.
